The Barcelona Festivities was closed on the 25th with the Great Piromusical of La Mercè, which this year brought together 140,000 people and was broadcast live on TV. The soundtrack chosen by Jordi Bonet was based on versions of pop-rock themes, with pieces of Catalan music and a grand finale with classical music. The Piromusical began with a tribute to the reconstruction of the 4 columns of Puig I Cadafalch, who gave the starting signal for a show was in perfect synchronization of music, fireworks and the water from the Montjuic Magic Fountain. In addition the 23 and 24 was held on the beaches of Barceloneta, the XIV International Fireworks Festival of Barcelona with the participation of The Artisans of the Spectacle (France) and Pirotecnia Vulcan (Madrid).
