History
The beginnings of our company go back to the first decade of century XX, although their official foundation was in 1920 of the hand of Francisco Igual and its father Eduardo Igual.
In 1962 Mario Igual Baseda made a change in the development of the company that since this time was a very artisan and limited the national market, it was the construction of the present facilities of Canyelles in Barcelona for a greater production, and after for the production of pyrotechnics destined to the European market.
In 1980 Pirotecnica Igual constitute itself in a joint-stock company and begins a process of Internationalization that culminates in 1995 with the constitution of PiroGestion sl in Tarragona, in 1998 with the constitution of Pirotecnica Igual Chile S.A. in Valparaiso, and in the 2007 of Igual Gulf Firewoks placed in United Arab Emirates.

Our head office is in Barcelona, in Canyelles. Where we have a production center and our central offices that altogether occupy a surface of more than 500,000 m2.
In the province of Tarragona, in Vilarodona, we have a second center of special product production (PIROGESTION S.L) with an approximated surface of 50.000 m2.
